Mission Statement
Free Culture Arts is dedicated to promoting empowered community through art, activism, and sustainability. It is our mission to support Santa Barbara County musicians, filmmakers, and artists that are spreading awareness on local and global issues.


What is Free Culture?
A grassroots collective of individuals dedicated to empowering our community through art, activism, and sustainability. Many artists and activists have strong convictions and a deep personal belief in the power of art to inspire and motivate people. We created an organizational structure to channel those beliefs into action.

Free Culture; partnering with fellow groups in our community working towards solutions to local and global issues; uses the resources of music, film, and art to inspire and mobilize people into action. By bringing people together in the celebration of our local art; drawing attention to the communities concerns and needs; and providing solutions and means for active involvement; we are supporting a culture of inspired, educated, and empowered citizens taking an active role in their community.
